FILMING
Professional filmmakers find inherent stories on the sites of manufacturing and the culture and climate of the region and will create unique films. The images created using only the artisans' words, the sounds of their work, and the sounds from the environment make sense of being transported to their's place, and it emotionally moves the viewer. Documentary stories that focus on the essence of the artisan's world, instead of advertisements that focus on consumer goods, lead to the memorable brand (value creation).
OUT INTO THE WORLD
INTERNATIONAL DISTORIBUTION
All footage is subtitled in English (multi-language support available) and distributed abroad. The films have been viewed in 160 countries, including broadcast on NHK World and US, and screened at film festivals in South Korea and Indonesia. Japanese craftsmanship is respected around the world and is in great demand. We use the unique network we have developed and work with various media to tell the stories of Japanese producers.
WIDELY USED
We will enface on multiple usages of the footage. Most documentary copyright holds by broadcasters or distributors in Japan, making it virtually impossible for the performers and others to utilise them. We have set up a scheme whereby broadcasters and other organisations can purchase only broadcast rights that we have edited for them, thereby retaining the footage and editorial copyright of the documentary and allowing many people to use it. In addition to screenings, for example, the footage can be embedded on producers' websites or introduced on the websites of their business partners. QR codes can also be placed on business cards, pamphlets, and educational materials and viewed on mobile phones and tablets. The documentary can also be used in school classes.
BE A BRIDGE OF REGIONS AND CITIES, JAPAN AND THE WORLD
Screenings and exhibits take place nationally and internationally. Our website to introduce artisans and product sales on our website serves as a hub connecting artisans abroad and supporting local commerce. We also work with various organisations and groups, such as national and local governments, cooperatives and NPOs, to conduct promotions overseas. Our documentary will create an encouragement of the viewers to meet and visit production locations.
ARCHIVES FOR THE NEXT 100 YEARS
All sequences filmed footage, sounds of nature, photos and texts will be archived online. It's accessible to all. We'll create a video library of artisans, and it will take viewers on a journey to enjoy the essence of different past and spaces of life and transmit them to children in 100 years.
